Default Putting a 2 post lift 3/4 the way up a mountainside.

I was asked why I was selling off so much stuff. The answer is after 50 years just inside or just outside the beltway and 29 years in the same house I decided to uproot the family and move to Woodstock VA. Found just the right place that is only 3 miles from the kids future school. Sold off all 3 Porsches and almost all the spare parts and bought a canoe. (the proceeds just covered it with some $ left over for a paddle and fishing pole)
The new house backs up to George Washington National forest and my "next door" neighbor is 3/4 a mile away and 400 feet elevation below us. My little dead end street in Falls church transformed from families getting together around a grill while the kids ran around in a noisy chattering pack to giant plastic houses that swallow people up never to be seen again. The house will, or better said, the plat of land will soon join them as the house itself will be recycled. The new place has plenty of space for everything including just the right spot for a new stand alone shop. I am looking into fixing up early post war Dodge power wagons so I can maintain the proper rust dust levels in my lungs. I guess this will be my "2 post lift 3/4 the way up a mountainside" thread.
