PPI didn't go well. I am now starting the search all over again. This is tiresome. The motor basically needs a top end the mechanic said.

So, anyone with a 3.0 or 3.2 motor?

Rick, how much and long did you think your rebuild would take?

Anyone know Lufteknic in Richmond? are they overpriced retail guys or pretty good for a rebuild.

I was unaware that I was getting ready to do my engine. Do you know something I don't?
As for Lufteknic.....................This is a personel answer from some thing I know and won't discuss here but...................RUN FOREST!

That is all I will say in an open forum since I don't want to have to sick my killer lawyer on thier lawyer for stating what I know to be the truth, as seen by my own 2 eyes. Some children don't play well together. Drop me a line we'll talk, and I will inform you of who you should speek for some scary info.

Sorry. I didn't mean your car. I meant you rebuilding mine as you have mentioned in the past.

Enough said on Lufteknic. thank you.

William -

At this point I think you should work with Rick. Let him work his magic and revive your existing 3.0.

I saw that one and have been in contact with the seller. What do you think of that one without the carbs? I could move the HE, CIS and Ignition from my motor. He does claim that it is in good shape and was in good shape before he removed it from the car and there is a video of it runnning but it is really hard to get much from it other than the fact that it did actually run.

What are y'all's thought? This is the one motor I am actually considering right now along with a JW rebuild or RV rebuild after I throw in the towel on buying a motor. I am beginning to fear the swap more and more. How tough is it to swap the CIS and ignition from my motor and also what about buying a motor that is not currently running????

Thanks for the heads up H.
