I just received a Cayman R style front bumper from GT Racing today. It took 8 weeks (originally stated 4 weeks) due to delays caused by COVID. I will post some pics once I get it out of the box and provide some comments on fit and finish.

Hmm...looks like Getty gives no love to the 944 chassis.

Tom,
See if they'll cut a deal on pricing and shipping if I throw my parts in too! I've been looking at Getty for a longhood fiberglass or carbon hood. I've had their RSR front bumper for years and really like it.

Best,
-Fritz

GT racing’s 911R parts were so bad the first shop I used refused to even work with them.

Here are some pics of the GT Racing Cayman R bumper I just got. I expected that there would be a good amount of prep work required on the fiberglass before paint.

Packed in box

Front View
https://drive.google.com/open?id=17O...t&usp=drive_fs

Seam on right
https://drive.google.com/open?id=17Q...t&usp=drive_fs
This will need sanding and filling. There is the same seam on left side.

Seam at top
https://drive.google.com/open?id=17P...t&usp=drive_fs
This will also need filling.

Overall no major suprises. I haven't checked fitment yet as I'm still looking for 987.2 fenders to go with it.

That isn't great, but it isn't awful either. I'll be interested to hear what you have to say on fitment.

I had a conversation with the shop in TX this week about body panels, and he really likes Broadfoot racing panels, so I bought a lot of fiberglass this week:

- A 968 RS Turbo replica rear spoiler and trim from a Porsche shop is Serbia (!!!) (pics at bottom)

- A vented nose panel/header panel from AIR

- Fender flares and rocker panels from Broadfoot racing
