Kirsten...Is that you. How is Canada Corner?

I'm in the area - don't know if you will make the connection from my signon, but this is Skip with the black 993 C4S. We hung out at RA and Gingerman two years ago when I was living in Chicago.

Now I'm here in the DC area.

My track time this year will be a little light due to the new baby and crazy family plans - vacations, weddings, etc.

Where are you living? This can help with shop choices.

Drop me a line at wsboykin3 at yahoo.com

-Skip

(not fun after a full day) or run straight to the other end of the pit just to qualify in time for one....

Still no help, I could be wrong but I think a sommelier is a wine expert and they don't serve it just recommend the best wine for the occasion. IIRC gin is not wine.

yeah... I know... just using it in general as a term for "booze handler" --
since that one just doesn't have the same ring to it

..there have been times when I've taken one for the team, but isnt that what it's all about?[/quote]

I don't care which way you pump your handle, but I get first dibs if we're going after the same Jack.

and I'll bring all the cold saphire you can drink or what ever is your poison if you can get me off of the blue waitlist and onto the track for SP for May 14/15.

What are the chances I'll get approved?

Better if you were in white, I'd imagine. Do you still need an instructor?

BTW, sign up for the June event now, so you'll be closer to the top of the list.

Yes, I need an instructor.

I'm ok in Blue, at least to start, as I haven't been on any of these tracks and would prefer an instructor to discuss the line.

Right now, the blue run group for the May DE is undersubscribed (we haven't run out of slots), but we have run out of instructors. The folks who are on the waitlist are waiting for an instructor to sign up. We've never had an event at Summit where we didn't have enough instructors, and if push came to shove, folks would volunteer to get two students, so it's pretty much a given that everyone on the blue waitlist right now will eventually get in.

And, we might just have a surprise appearance in blue.
