Whats your go to source for electrical connectors, probes, clips, connectors... ? I just went through a box of cheap Amazon junk and spent more time troubleshooting the connectors than the actual problem I was working on.

Is there a goto source that sells decent quality connectors? If amazon, do you have a brand and/or seller you are happy with?

I usually need things like , clips and male connectors to jump a fuse or relay, power a fuel pump on the bench, cobble together power a harness w/ 12v... nothing complicated but decent connectors make it so much simpler.

My go-to sites for high quality electrical components used in the aircraft I build are B&C https://bandc.com/product-category/electrical-supplies/ and Steinair https://www.steinair.com/ It also helps to have the correct crimping tools on quality terminals, pins, and connectors.

So for probes for like my meters and such, I have two categories - heavy use and occasional use. Heavy use stuff I use all the time I buy quality Fluke attachments. Fluke is to electrical test folks what Snap-On is to mechanics. High quality and the price to match. For occasional use I just get stuff off Amazon - test clips, stuff like that. When the break I toss them.

For connectors and such, I like WetherPack and MetriPack for stuff. Also pricey by weather sealed and very nice. Doesn't really work with old car stuff and its a bit anachronistic in an old 911. Fo replacing things like spade connectors, I'm not a fan of the autoparts store red/blue/yellow crap and prefer the OEM style that you need the specific crimping tool for. Nice thing is those crimping tools used to be $100+, but you can get decent ones on Amazon now for $20-$30.

Then just stock up on the spade connectors like any other type of hardware:

No matter how many parts and pieces I try to keep in stock I always need that elusive connector, fastener... dont we all.

I've been using an old Fluke 77/bn for ages, maybe 20+ yrs. It gave up the ghost and I've always cobbled together the probes/connectors, maybe its finally time to spring for a new one with you know, nice accessories.
