No affiliation, just passing this along as I thought it looked interesting, please contact the dealership for details.

Love everything about it! Love the color, love the 1st. gen GT3. Sadly not looking for a track car.

That's not a real thing is it? I thought the GT3 didn't come out until 2004.

The MK1 was not imported to the US but it came out in 1999. This car has all of the correct bits, brakes, engine, aero and appears to my untrained eye to be the real deal but...

This is a grey market vehicle and couldn’t be used on the road absent some tomfoolery with registration

You are correct but in three years the car will be 25 years old and eligible for road use. This is a track car so that is not really important.

Ooooo green, tempting! And leaving a car in a garage for years on end is nothing new to me

I was told that the car went in for a PPI and it was “pretty ugly” I don’t have any details but will share whatever I find out

I think the car may still be available.

I remember seeing that car at several PCA races in the early 2000s. I think it was owned by a guy named Steve Patti at the time. I would love a MK1 996 GT3.
