I'll be out at Summit Point for sure on Sunday May 18, but since the 2.4 is coming apart this weekend I'll have to limp out there in the M3. Look for a black '88 with a slightly scarred front bumper cover, courtesy of the concrete barrier on the inside of turn 3. Another story.

Keith:

Thanks for all of the information on the 356 event!

I don't think we have met b/c the car has been in semi-retirement for the past several years and I moved to VA 2 +/- years ago. This car used to run primarily HSR and SVRA and a few Brian Redman invitational events. I haven't been involved to much with 356 registry but hope to change that in near future.

Here is a link to an aol page I created. http://www.hometown.aol.com/jms325ix/porsche.html The second picture is the '62 356 at Road Atlanta. The inset is my father, I am in the bottom picture (I think that is mid-ohio years ago or Putnam Park in IN)

We are running two 911s for the Jefferson 500. One car is number 14 and the other is number 60. Probably won't have much time to check into the corral but will try to if I get a chance. If you have a moment, stop by our trailer and say hello (look for "Scott Swimming Pools"). Thanks for the info on the mechanic.

See you at the track!

Jason

Keith, This is a little off topic but Tim is a good friend and a damm good 356/912 motor man. He did the work on the motor that came with my 912 and I went to him when I wanted to rebuild/improve the motor. We had a good time building that one and went on to work together often. He made a mistake, tought me too much and I rebuild them myself. Check out Spensers two build books on 356s and 912s Tim's motor and my car are in both.
