Default VW Rear Brake Retractor

Need to borrow a rear brake retractor for my '17 GTI (with performance package). Got the first rear caliper off and realized I couldn't push the piston back in--need to turn it while pushing and I don't have the tool for that. Interestingly, I watched 2 different videos and neither mentioned it. I'll be at the tech inspection Sat AM (and at the Autocross Sunday) if someone has the tool for me to borrow. Thanks in advance!

Peter

AdvanceAuto, and other FLAPS, sell this inexpensive Lisle tool, that works with a 3/8 ratchet.

Otherwise, I have a kit like this you're welcome to borrow.

But today you'd have to come out and pick it up. We can coordinate the return sometime next week.

Call me if you want to pick up.

Thanks Tony. I just picked one up from FLAPS. But I’ll see if I can get past the really hard part—loosening the triple-square bolts that are tightened to 200 NM, and have about 10 degrees angle to oust the breaker bar…
