Body Shop in Columbia, MD- Porsche
So in today's windstorms, a neighbor's tree fell, and made a small dent, and scratch in the clear coat in the front fender of my Cayman.
Can anyone recommend a GOOD body shop in the Columbia, MD area that could look at the damage, and give me an estimate on how to fix it properly? I'd like some idea of what's going to be involved before I call the insurance company. Yes, they will pay for the work, but I learned the hard way to call my insurance to file the claim. My wife's Mazda got a pretty good sized dent in it, too. ZIP is 21044. Thank you! Elric42 |

Close enough to Gaithersburg that you should consider EuroPros. They turn insurance work over quickly.

Have you dealt with them? Gaithersburg is a little far if I don’t have to go there.

When my other car was rear ended, very minor impact. Bumper cover and the aluminum brace I did not hesitate to use them again. This was on the other guys insurance and they took care of all the BS. They are an essential service according to the State so they are open during the Pandemic. One of the parts to fix my car was only available in Germany, they had it shipped air freight during a Global Pandemic, excellent service. Oh I also had them look at the damage prior to starting the work but the guy that hit me reported the accident and his insurance accepted responsibility so...but yes I like your idea of getting someone to look at the damage prior to calling your insurance company. I probably would take a car that needed frame work to Euro Pros but for minor damage and especially paint work Porsche of Silver Spring is very good. Ask for Linda in service.

Done! I'm dropping the car on Thursday.
Thank you. I'll keep Europros in mind for the bigger jobs. Elric42 |

Do they do their own work there on site? I would suspect they farm it out like most of the other shops in the circle do.

Both Porsche of Silver Spring and EuroPros are PCA Potomac sponsors and do a top-notch job! Be sure to let them know if you are a PCA member.
