Catastrophic engine failure. No indicators. Just wouldn't start and some bad noises, took it to the shop and it is done.

Getting lots of opinions, so let's see. Also looking at all options... If anyone wants to buy a project car, let me know.

I got all kinds of strange offers for stuff to trade with for my wrecked Boxster, and am considering either selling as-is or getting it fixed and then trading down into something that's cheaper to maintain, so if anyone wants to work out some kind of trade, I'd consider that too (street legal 944, Miata -ugh).
