Default How to treat mold/mildew smell?

Two years ago at my families house there was a partial foundation collapse, the cause of was water. Along with the foundation needing work, everything stored in the crawlspace was destroyed or damaged with mildew/white-green mold. Many of the items have are salvageable but they have an odor to them.

Is there some sort of fogger that I can get to remove the smell from the items?

Many years ago when some mice died in the 911, my mechanic released a 'bomb' fogger of some sort in the car to kill the smell. I have no idea what it was, though I'd love to as it worked amazingly well and I assume a few of them would do the trick.

Ozone generator? That's the one 'dry' way of removing odors. If there is still mold/ mildew on some of the items, that must be cleaned off first.

Ozone works great.

I'll refrain from telling you what the national building code tells you for mildew/mold removal. It's long, involved, and expensive. Easy google to locate.

Teaser's aren't like you boy-o! Link would have been nice. Though I admit to being more interested in why you haven't posted any pics of your car??

Oops, sorry I didn't notice the replies earlier. I usually get emails telling me there was a reply and didn't this time

So an ozone generator? Are these things rentable or better to purchase? There are lots out there, anything I should look for?

Also, I take it from the responses that there isn't something along the lines of a can fogger where you just set, and release? Something like this (http://biocidelabs.com/Mold_Bomb_Fogger.html) though I have no clue if that specific product works.
