Default Coats tire changer and balancer.

No relation to the seller or info other than what is in the ad. Price is good IMO.

this is a great setup for the home auto shop / track rat. The 700 is a small footprint machine and works well. Does both static and dynamic balance. I prefer static on track tires and dynamic on the rest.

The changer is a good format that is not hard to learn to use and can change all kinds of tires without rim damage when used as intended. No more hanging out in the tire shop wait room drinking bad coffee or drop off and pick up trips. order tires on line and the magic brown truck arrives a day or 3 later. Rim flips when the outside edge gets a bit thin no problem. Might not be the go to for the dubdubs on your 88 Impala or super low profile 19" runflat tires but it rocks on track and tow tires.

Great deal on good equipment. Mine has paid for itself MANY times over. Even without the fancy no touch attachments we can mount 30 series R7's without much difficulty if you are patient and know some of the tricks of the trade.

A dorki is picking it upon Friday. I have the same setup except my changer has the electric turntable. This one is all air power.

Once you have your own tire mount and balance setup you wonder how any DIY car guy lives without.

VG, Thanks for the heads up. Picked it up this morning. Although a lift is the classic first large piece of equipment for a DIY guy, this actually might be more useful. Especially, the way my wife goes through tires on potholes. She can now just have it towed home instead of to Charlie.

Tow it home???

Pick up a used box truck and install them inside. Make your own personal Tire Van

I remember there was a local company that had mobile tire service. I used them a few times 15 years ago. I wonder what happened to them.

That was Tire Van. Like most businesses that shut down, it is due to not making money.

You have to act like you are huge and then walk away from big loans from a German bank to make it in America!

Agree with the box truck idea - then bring it to the SCCA weekends and paddock with Hotztuff Racing!

So, after you buy a tire machine for home and order the requisite accessories, it may be best to explain those accessories to your wife in advance. Amazon Alexa announced the delivery of my "R U Glyde Lubricant, One Gallon" yesterday as in tire bead lubricant. Sort of funny reaction. Then, today's shipment included a "6 Ball Coupler" as in a compressed air fitting.
