Trak Ratt has one HoF thread
Default DOGE hits close to home!

A friend of ours just got word his DOD contract has been cancelled. He has lots of project management and major event planning experience. Hard worker with strong personal skills.

He’s working on updating his resume and LinkedIn profile.
Any leads would be appreciated

GSA is gutted -- many, many retirements, and quite a few terminations of people on probation. We were issued a stop work order on a project last week, and on another that is close to design completion all the technical people tasked with performing the reviews are gone. Some of the people were already close to retirement, but many other have years left in the working world. There will be a lot of competition for jobs in the private sector, at least in the DC region.

That being said, Architect of the Capitol has been in hiring mode. They've been looking for project managers and various engineers/ architects.

I'm glad I left GSA when I did.

Glad I sort-of retired when I did.
