Default Crank grinding

does anyone know of a local (Baltimore area) shop to clean up and possibly grind a crank 1 step undersize? (rod bearing).

type 4 crank thanks

One of the best Type IV guy's around, unfortunately mostly VW's but worth a visit.
He also has a fantastic VW junkyard

I used Edward's machine in Timonium to polish several 911 crankshafts over the years, it's been a while so I'm not sure if he's still there or not. Did a great job and was reasonable. I have never used him for grinding but whomever you chose for that should have a way to re-nitride the journals afterwards, assuming type 4 cranks are hardness treated like 911 cranks out of the factory.
