I think I posted here, but I found broken head stud at my last valve adjustment. Still moving at a snails pace. I used a pallet jack to lower the motor, and I'm currently to here:

So I can’t upload pics from my phone. But I’m down to the long block? I have everything off the top of the engine and the exhaust off the bottom. I’m now at a point where I’m not sure I can go any further. Truth be told, my fear is I don’t have the attention to detail to get the specs and measurements and everything else right to rebuild it to this point.

I got quotes from two local shops for rebuilding the long block only and the both were around $7k. Does that seem about right to you guys? Breakdown was $100 x40 hours labor, $2k in parts estimate, and $1k in machine shop.
