Are you saying you know of a 3.6 motor for $8K or by 8K you mean a 8 ton paper weight?

I would buy as many as you find for $8K as my retirement fund.

Doh! You are correct Curt.. the early stuff he was putting out was a little rough a bit rough. Although I've seen some later work that looked good, and was told it was Timmons.

So instead of converting my car to a 3.6, I decided to buy one already done. By the factory.

Randy finally got his engine back in his car and needed to put some break-in miles on it, so we drove up to CT on Sat, I made a deal for my new track car, and we drove back on some back roads through PA the same day. 14 hours on the road.

It's a '93 that was built by Dan Jacobs for PCA Club Stock racing. Several RS and Cup bits and a semi-recent engine and gearbox rebuild. It'll make its debut at Porschefest.

Now I can make two dreams, one with the car I've always wanted. And now I can stop considering putting 964 bumpers on the SC. This should be a lot of fun.
