We're looking to hire several individuals to work as consultants performing installations and upgrades of enterprise data storage hardware. This job will require 100% travel I.e. you will probably be catching a flight and living out of a hotel Mon-Fri every week and only at home on the weekends. Travel is nationwide but majority of work is in major cities on the east coast.

Responsibilities include design / architecture and implementation of enterprise storage area network (SAN) solutions utilizing SAN Switches (Brocade & Cisco), Enterprise Tape Libraries, and large Disk Arrays in mission critical environments.

You don't need to be a data storage guru! We will train you!! - but you must have an IT background with a few years of experience and a functional understanding of multiple operating systems (Tru64, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux, OpenVMS, VMware, Windows, etc). You don't need to be a guru at every OS but you should be familiar with the basics (how to navigate the OS, install software and drivers, etc.) on at least 3 or 4 OS's.

There is no office location, you travel to the customer sites and when you're not at a customer site, you work from home. Salary will depend on background and skill level (but $100,000+ is norm for senior level individual).

Employees to perform consulting. The positions are all full-time, salaried, regular employee positions (not contract or temp jobs).
