Default Arlington VA Wheel Repair

Figured I'd post this since Ye Ole Wheel shop closed and I finally found a good local alternative.

Max Wheel Repair 202-327-0831

Services
- Bent, Curb damaged, and cracked wheel repair
- Paint & scuff touchup

I have no affiliation but had a great experience with him fixing my bent rims. He works out of the Arlington Mercedes Benz used lot and performs all of their wheel warranty work.

Ask for Max and tell him Chris sent you.

Pricing I believe varies by rim size and is negotiable based on the number of rims you need fixed.

Pricing for a single rim starts at $175 but is negotiable for multiple rims. He was really quick to fix all eight rims I had which were bent and charged me less per rim based on the quantity.

Careful driving there, on glebe road right before the turn there’s quite a pothole, glad my wife has 18” and not larger wheels!

Arlington MB might not want folks to know that they are running warranty work through a 3ed party .

Non warranty not an issue.

Stopped out at Alloy Wheel Repair in Gaithersburg, MD. Now Im certainly not an expert on Gaithersburg but this felt entirely off the 270 path and into farmland. Wonderful facility, can powder coat wheels, paint wheels, repair bent alloy wheels, has a wheel specific CNC machine that can touch the face of machined face wheels and set a blueprint for the wheels surface and then take a few thousands off a machined face wheel. Very impressed with his facility, he indicated that he also had a couple of fully outfitted vans that go out and do the dealer thing, fixing prepping for sales/service.

As someone who has paid several powder coaters, paint shops, wheel repair guys, this place is the nicest facility I have ever seen for this process.

Shop is at 24221 Laytonsville Rd Gaithersburg, MD 20882 301-573-7468
Casey Parkin recommended them to me. Joe Dale

YMMV
