This just kills me. Im trying to talk a buddy out of getting his new kid driver an M3. No kid needs that sort of HP. 2 folks are dead and it didnt need to be that way.

Not the car. With that "mindset" the results would have been the same in a '66 beetle.

Ben learned to drive in my Prius. He always brought it back with higher mileage than that with which he took it out. I knew he wasn't speeding or at least not attempting "jackrabbit" starts (with the Prius more like quick tortoise starts), but years later I learned he did that by not slowing down much for turns. He drove for years before his first accident, so I assume that was safer than speeding down the road showing off... It's all about mindset--I agree with the comments above.
