Ok I am back. My internets went to a super slow crawl but everything was "working". Verizon worked their butts off until the problem was found and fixed.

I have a handheld metal cutting band saw that makes quick if slightly inaccurate work of most things under 4 inches in width. We can slice up a pile of coupons in short order.

Tool makers, if cutting is required bring a 4 or 7 inch cut off wheel as tool metal has to be cut with a cut off wheel.

Mr Bock, PM sent.

Lets pass on them for now unless they are paint free.

Ah a little zinc vapor is good for the lungs and body. "Oh look at all the cool looking white soot floating around!" Next day and for a day or two after. "How come i feel sick, like the flu but not quite?"

I now wear a respirator when welding for a reason....

Father's Day is a great excuse for PCar stuff. See you at noon with brews in hand.

well I just found out that my friend that has my Studebaker (and a couple of his own) is going to be out of town on vacation next weekend, so I don't even have to feel guilty about blowing him off to show up

If it's like it is today, however, I'll be curled up in my basement hugging the AC vent. I don't know what I was thinking; I was outside mocking up my AC bracket (ironically enough) on a junk block to see what bolts and spacers I needed and now I have a throbbing headache.

If it is like today you can hug the vent in the shop as it has AC.

I still can't make it, too busy finishing up building a basement bathroom at my sisters' house. If/when there's another session maybe I can donate me Mercedes that has floor-pan cancer to be the guinea pig, haha.
