Absolutely perfect weather and WOW from here in Niota.Slow progression with it staying fairly light out, almost like with sunglasses on right up until totality and it came on fast, within a minute it was just like midnight. Totally dark. Absolutely amazing. Eric Stratton jouned us and Im sure he enjoyed it as much as I did. WOW. Id upload video but its too large. Ill try to post to a host and link it.

Best things. Mansplaining to neighborhood kids what was happening. The fantastic shadows thrown by our large stand of lilacs.
I made a projector using binoculars.
Neat stuff.
