I took the Miata out on the skidpad for a few sessions last weekend. I've really been challenged by it on skidpad. Two big issues the instructor pointed out. My eyes would not stay focused around the corner during large angle corrections and I was overcorrecting when coming back (hands were moving too fast and rotating the wheel too far). I started to 'get it' but need a lot more practice. Even 10 to 20 degrees at the steering wheel off the correct angle on the return makes a huge difference.

so YOURE the one! Mia and I were pulling up to the access road right there to spectate just as that happened. saw the cloud of dirt. but by time we got out of car and over to the fence, the incident was over and you were gone. i'm glad it was nothing more than a pants wetter.

Emergency services was so happy no big incidents. Crazy how close that come to not being true. Shew!
