I've watched "Spy Wars" at least three or four times now and all but the first one because I knew that one of the green 912s that Redford drives was Kurt's. Kurt told me that the filmmakers used two different cars and I forget which scene was the one with Kurt's.

I saw 10 Porsches from all years. Some were stock some were not. They looked like some kind of yuppy gang. Instead of flying colors they were all flying stupid grins. Fuel tanks topped off with testosterone, 50hp shots of adrenaline and some very creative driving to stay togeather no matter what traffic and lights they ran into. ( gotta love the way they took over the 2 lane road in Winchester) This gang must have been threatening looking since people who saw them started to sport the same grins and little old ladies ( in green escort wagons) held the road for them. People in vans were so scared they almost ran off the road trying to get out of the way. Whats this world coming to?

I saw this beauty parked diagonally in two spots at Home Depot. Carbon Fiber hood, mismatched body panels, hand painted brake calipers . . . in short, the real deal. But the real thing that caught my eye was the license plate frame, which said, I quote, "Let the a$$ kicking begin." That sounded like fun to me. If I had not had my three year old daughter along, I might have just waited around for the a$$ kicking.

P.S. It is amazing how low and small my car looked in comparison to that "sport compact."

P.S.x2. What a loser 996 owner taking the pictures! Note the Starbuck's cup in the reflection. Good thing the Porsche has cupholders.

Most of his "upgrades" probably came from Home Depot. I'll bet he was there for some PVC to build a "roll cage" out of. Or maybe some 2x4's to build side skirts and a wing.

944's are fun

When the Wright brothers set out to create a flying machine, Science told them it was impossible.

I was amused that he and the 300z or whatever it is next to him both get away with parking diagonally and taking two spots. If I tried that I am 100% certain the car would be keyed by the time I came back out.

And the irony of all this is the guy was probably walking out of Home Depot and saw this Porsche owner taking pictures of his "whip". I'm sure you made his day

I have had a good couple of days in the eye candy dept. Yesterday I saw a sweet 71 911e going through a rehab (the right way!)
An 80 SC being put on an eye catching diet with some sweet backdating.
An 81 SC in a nice shade of light metalic blue.
Today I was followed in traffic by an arest-me-red 356, man that kid was a joy to look at!
I finished my day going over a. 85.5 944euro.
We also had an all origional 1949 Studabaker pickup with 42k origional miles a real garage queen!
Sometimes it is good to be me
