I didn't think it was still called the Winston Tower (not that you can miss it..tallest grandstands and smack in the center) but it appears it still is

Fwiw, I've been told that there is alot of construction going on that will take two years to finish (ie, it will go despite the Rolex 24 and Daytona 500).

It may be cheesy, but go on the ferris wheel. I've only gone on in the evening and the views are pretty impressive.

Hey Tony, we should plan a Zeus Suit Racing Team race where we WATCH everyone else toil to make and stay in the race. Maybe Daytona next year, or, for easier travel, the fall Tudor event at VIR...

Hi Chip,
We will just be there Saturday and Sunday, planning to arrive early enough on Saturday to get to watch a lot of the preparation. We also missed out on the infield parking so we'll be packing all the necessities. 'hope we can meet at the PCA tent as you suggested. My cell is 703.597.3115. I'll try texting or calling Saturday mid day.
Hope to see you at the races.
John Moore
Ah...Mr. Moore! Looking forward to seeing you'll down there. Not sure what our dinner plans are Saturday night, but, maybe you and your wife would like to join us (Greg Seemann and his girlfriend are joining us).
If we're not already there, we'll head over to the PCA tent after lunch on Saturday and look for you.

Probably not too cheesy if your woman joins you, eh?

Hi Chip,

We'll head to the PCA tent after lunch on Saturday to meet up and make some dinner plans. Since your guys will be there for qualifying you will have had a chance to scope things out.

John

Last year we had the entire Porsche Motorsports hierarchy there.
Nice to meet you Manny, lots of cars to ooogle over and the race was fantastic. A couple of photos from the infield and PCA tent.
