Not to exclude Josh, but any update on detailers in the suburban Maryland area (this thread is 2 years old). Need to detail my 997.2. Thanks in advance.

Used Daryl last year. He's still the man.

Daryl sounds great - does he come to the customer or would I need to take the car to NoVA? If the latter, anybody use someone they can recommend closer to Montgomery County MD?

Wow. Even dr. K is blending in with the new dorkiphus. I guess I don't have to blame wanting a clean car on my wife anymore

Default Lucas Mobile Detailing

I strongly recommend Lucas Mobile Detailing. Not only does he come to you, but he does AMAZING work. And he has really good prices.

If your scroll his Instagram page, you will see photos of my Jeep, Skyline, and my wife's "real" Mini. The Cayman should be on the page soon.

I've used Jim Roberts (301-748-0953) at The Finer Details for a couple of years. He's done 4 different cars for me, including 2 black ones that he spent WAY too much time on for what he charged me. His website is either abysmal or non-existent, so just call him. He's mobile, and I've had him do a car in my work parking lot in the past.

If you plan to use Lucas Mobile, please pm me. My results do not match Elric's.

Daryl, an Old friends business and has kinda made me a beliver in real ceramic coating (opticoat) vs the rest.

They also do some amazing detailing and dent removal. Pretty sure he does all the used cars at lindsey VW.

Also showed me a new removable coating...think plastidip but better...it can be wet sanded and stenciled etc...he is at sema with his gt3rs today actually. Got to play with some and was impressed...not cheap like plastidip at all. He actually had an ody car team give him parts to paint to do wind tunnel testing with

I'm curious as to your experiences, he has always done a great job on my cars.

What happened?
