Hello, if you have an engine hoist/crane sitting around that you won't be using in September, I'd like to borrow it for my 944 engine swap.

I just now read your text! I'm sorry for not replying immediately. Thank you very much for the offers!

I bought one from Harbor Freight the day I posted this, and at least it got the engine off the back of my truck.

But Harbor Freight is Selling their 1-ton hoist with a boom that is way too short for pulling engines.

It is certainly different than the design they used to sell as a 1-ton hoist. I borrowed an older HF 1-ton hoist from another 944 racer, and it works fine!
