Default Recommendation to perform sunroof delete

Eventually, I’d like to delete the sunroof in both the 964 and M3. Can anyone recommend a shop, especially if they’ve had it done before? Towable distance is fine.

For the M3, I’m thinking of going with a carbon fiber panel.

For the 964, I’d prefer to do the whole panel unless someone can weld a plug and make it look good.

These are long term items but I’d like to start planning.

Piper or Euro Pros for either I believe. I would think Euro Pros has more experience with CF than Piper however.

I purchased one of these, it will save you at least the cost of the panel, more important it will speed up your body man many hours. I had mine done in LA, sorry I can't recommend anyone local.

Yes, I got a quote from them. I want it to look factory like the CSL though, not race car, so I’m wondering if I should go with an actual body shop.

Though they did a good job farming out my custom rear seat delete.

I've heard good things about D&V, just up the street from them. I've never used them, but only heard good feedback.

Bumping this up because I’m also thinking of converting the 964 to a wide body along with the sunroof delete. The 3.8 RS has always been my favorite car and I still want to do a tribute.

I’m probably going to use OEM 965 parts, which means the whole rear quarter. Is Piper still the person for this? Anyone done a WB conversion back in the day and have someone they’d recommend?

Euro Pros.
Their experience in "proper" panel fitment is unparalleled in this area.
