I had one guy telling me that many many cars in the 80s were called Turbo but didnt actually have a Turbo. I struggled to find any.

Its sort of like Intel's turbo boost / AMD turbocore technology.

Porsche doesn't put the 'turbo' moniker on all their turbocharged cars. Why can't they put it on one that can't?

I remember an an ad for a turbo shaver. It was not powered at all.
