Looking good.

Please ditch the aluminum fuses for proper copper ones. Aluminum fuses placed in brass sockets should be illegal....

Yikes, it's a shame JWest doesn't do a 911 version of his 914 panel like that.

His 914 kit for $155 sure is a lot less than that company's $360 911 unit.

Male an adapter that goes in the old torpedo slot and holds a modern spade fuse. That way you don't have to replace the existing setup and can convert any car.

Perfect project for a 3-D printer! other than having to run that pesky wiring in the adaptor.

This one (designed for 24v) appears to be one of the easier designs- I know the Dorki brain trust can improve on it.

Got a few things done on the Targa:

Heater flaps restored:
Before:

After: I know they should be redish, but who cares.

Cleaned up the oil tank, checked the lever sender, re-installed with new gasket. Installed the oil tank.

The pedal system was complete destroyed.

I found usable a replacement.

So I disassembled it.

Blasted.

Powder coated

And assembled it with new brass bushings.

Checked out the windshield wiper system.

Disassembled it and cleaned it up a bit.

Powder coated the frame and it's assembled, tested and ready to be installed

The parking brake lever needed also some attention.

So I disassembled it, powder coated the parts, assembled and ready for installation. Made a new release button from Aluminum.

Still sorting out and testing all wires.

Fixing some connectors.

Finally I mounted a large TV in the garage, so I can see things in the big picture.

Cheers
Engelbert
