Default Are Porsche brake bolts Torx now?

I'm looking for some Socket Head Cap Screw (SHCS) for the brake adapters on the 911. Porsche uses an odd M12-1.5 fine pitch. That makes them about impossible to find aftermarket. Doubly so if you want the orig 10.9 and not harder (and more brittle) 12.9 strength. Of course you can find some 12.9 marked iffy shit from China. I have had bad luck w/ no-name fasteners so I'm not going to use them on my brakes.

So digging around in my bolt bins, I notice two M12-1.5x72 fully threaded allen head SHCSs. Looks to be zinc plated w/ light green goop on them (locktite?). Hey, those came from my wife's Boxster IIRC! I recall using similar ones on the 996tt. Figuring I can just cut these down to the length I need I go off to search for a set of new ones. Pelican says they are triple square but the photo of the head sure looks like Torx. They are also black instead of zinc plated. Everywhere I look has these same black Torx pictures.

Does Porsche use Torx on all the brakes now? (And are they actually Torx?) (I'm all for the change as Torx is vasty superior in the strength department in these sometimes difficult to remove bolts.) Just hope they have some anti-corrosive coating and not just black-oxide.

Edit:
This is what they used to look like (not my pic but one found on the web)

Porsche seems to use both, interchangeably. I guess it depends on their supplier du jour. Both of my previous 987s came with Torx bolts and the replacement bolts I've ordered would be either Torx or hex-socket (Allen).

And, the Torx bolts are definitely Torx. Porsche does use triple-square bolts, but for other things, like door stops and cv joints.

The biggest problem is that Porsche says the caliper bolts are single-use only. They recommend replacing the bolts every time the caliper is removed. However, I have re-used bolts a few times and never had a problem. I know several other people who have also re-used bolts without an issue.

I have a bunch of once- or twice-used caliper bolts in the bin, if you want to come sort out a few. Most of them with the black oxide coating.

Thanks for the info. I've found pics of brake bolts for later 911s (~2015) in a longer M12x115 that definitely show triple square heads. So I'm not writing off the idea that Porsche uses all three head styles depending on their mood and not wanting users to service their own cars.

Do the black ones appear to rust easily? If it was a simple black oxide coating they'd get ugly in a hurry. I'd hope Porsche is using some sort of black cosmetic coating over some other rust preventative coating.

You have 8 you want to get rid of? I'm going to cut them down to 30-35mm so they can be ugly on the far end where they were threaded in the uprights originally.

The black-coated bolts don't seem to rust very easily. I have some that were on the car for a couple of years and still look nice.

Edit:
I went and checked the "stash". I pulled out the 8 nicest-looking zinc bolts for you. I have 4 black oxide bolts that would work, since they are full-thread. The other black oxide bolts are only partially threaded, so they probably won't work. And, the other zinc bolts look like your second pic, but not quite as bad.

On the new car I have to remove the caliper to change the pads so I replaced the bolts with the stud and nut setup.

X2 on the stud & nut setup, even on the earlier cars. I've already got a set for both our 986 Boxster S and 987 Cayman S; just waiting for rotor replacement time to install them.
