What "extra connectors do you have? You might have the harness routed wrong or something if no appropriate wires reach. A way to see if you found the right wires is to ground them with the key on. The gauge will go from hot to cold or light on/ off. (Check for 12 V before grounding some random wire)
Oil pressure light and stock pressure gauge are G/w and G/r or vice versa IIRC. Temp should be nearby in the harness.

On the SC they both run through the 14 pin connector. I think it’s the same for 3.2. So should come from left side of engine.

I got it! Thanks Tito for the calls. The wire was pinched between the rubber seal that goes between the engine and body.
