I just saw on the 914world board the Jim passed away last night.

I am truely shocked!

RIP Jim and hope you get to drive your 911, orange #80 914, finished 914 6 conversion and Vanagon in the afterlife.

Wow. That is shocking and terrible news. Jim was a great guy and I always looked forward to catching up with him at tech inspections and talking 914s, of which I am big fan. He'll be missed.

Wow....this is definitely shocking. Jim was a truly good guy. I am so sorry to hear this. RIP Jim.

Oh no, what horrible news Jim was really a great guy. He seemed to be bouncing back from his heart surgery over the past few months. Tech will not be the same without him. We will all miss him.

Met Jim at the first Posche swap meet I went to some years ago. I went by myself and didn't know anyone there. I saw a white 914 and as I approached it he asked, "Hey, you want to buy it?". He befriended me there and has always "been there". He always had a cool calming effect about him. Jim, you will truly be missed; a great friend and person. The events won't be the same ...... RIP.
