Ok.. was kinda wondering as its a pretty nice looking car from the pics.. you mentioned engine donor so I think we were all wondering what kind of issues.

BTW.. I think I have a VG Macan customer coming your way in the not too distant future.

I was joking about the engine donor line. The car is in good shape, just needs some love. Always appreciate a referral.

Looks like the car is going to be going to ASG tomorrow. I am guessing it is going to be there for a while as it gets sorted. Will keep all apprised.

Long story short:

Our most proficient 964 guy(shop foreman) has too much going on right now and the shop is quite busy. I need to keep him focused on what pays the dealerships bills and not my projects.

Congrats and you'll be happy with the care you'll get from ASG.

ASG has taken care of my 914 for years. This will be a good project and I am happy to give them my money.

Well the car didn't turn out to be either unfortunately. The car had a really bad leak down on multiple cylinders and while I could afford the car, the cosmetic and mechanical work priced the car too high for me. If it were a 2wd coupe I would have made the investment but unfortunately a 4wd targa isn't my dream 911. So dumping more money in the 914.

Casey, was this a PPI or was it something you bought and had checked out after the fact?
