Waiting on a reply from Hagerty, but my policy documents say the following under the heading, "Coverage for Damage to your Auto, Other Than Collision."
$1000 Ded. INCL Glass If Hagerty tells me anything different, I will let you know. Over the past 20 years, I have probably had Safelite replace ten windshields. Mostly on my wife's work trucks. If I use the number ten, I would say that eight were done well enough that I could not notice that work had been done. One was a bit sloppy, but on a work truck, I didn't fuss about it. Then there was one that was awful. Looked like a child did the work. I took it to their shop, they redid the work, and that looked fine.

My recent experience with replacing glass on Cayman was that insurance pays for aftermarket glass, and I had to pony up if I wanted Porsche glass.
I have a $500 deductible, and chose to go the Porsche glass option. We’ll see what the insurance company pays. I think the difference was about $400.
