So, I went to have new tires mounted and the tech said that was due to worn struts. I did not take the car there so he was only commenting based on how the tire looked. With the larger M5 sway bar, it is hard to do a accurate bounce test but still seems pretty tight.

They don't look blown and passed inspection. So, you think he is mistaken?

Have you had the alignment checked by a competent tech with accurate, calibrated equipment? Anything less is a guess.

Yes there are some simple easy to diagnose issues but modern multi link suspensions often require a trained examination to diagnose.

Yes, my next step is to get an alignment. I figure if I needed rear struts, I would do them first before getting alignment and not have to do it twice. Car has been a garage queen for many years now.
