I gave a passing signal, and you took it. All is good Just wish I could hang on your tail a while longer

Can't wait to see you and your Cayman driver in the spring! Yes, the driving season ended much too soon.

For me, this season felt like it was 1/10th as long as last season (my first season), over in the blink of an eye. Strange ...

That's a fun video -- was that the last session of the weekend? I may have the accompanying video for this, a la Vranko and Fatih.

Yeah, I got the debris flag at 4 because of that guy. He was off track left right, just wandering around.

Now confirmed to match within 1 mph up to 114 mph.

Thinking about running taller tires so I don't run out of revs on the straight in 4th.

3rd lap of vid (lap 6 of session) is a 21.365 also saw a 21.34 later in the day.

Damn Jim,
Sweet laptimes...keep it up, and I'll have to show up at the race next year with some stickers!!!
Oh, and that's the last time I share my data

LOL!, thanks, yes it helped some (tried later braking in 4 & 6 but then I over braked and so far I think the gain is 0 but hopefully I can use less brake in those two.......so that will help once I don't overbrake) but really everything just seem to come together which is what happens when one breaks through a plateau as I feel I did and it has been a while since that happened....mostly due from increased confidence from the car handling very, very well that day, finally! That and just the right amount of caffeine.

I've been looking at Doug D's F/Boxster data for over a year and hadn't been able to hit a consistent 80 min in 3 until that weekend (still a bunch of 79s). My brain (and nads) have been stuck at 76-78 for many years. I've tried to talk myself into taking that corner faster on approach but nothing until a few weeks ago.

As we discussed looking at higher speeds in corners by others doesn't mean one can go out and do it.....which for me translates to either "how is X so much faster in that corner?" or "why am I so damn slow in that corner?" . Still losing some time w/ my shorter tires at the end of the straight and nothing I can do about that except go to taller tires which has it's own drawbacks. I'll have to look again but both you and Doug D are carrying more speed into T9....my foot just won't stay on the gas any longer there. So when comparing data I just see what CAN be done (possible) but whether or not I have the skill and nads to do it is another story. Later braking I can do though, so....... thanks.

Anyway, feel free to leave your stickers at home next year.
