Nice looking 944S2. Timmy Tyrrel is selling it.
He's gonna have to come down a few thousand to move it though!

I didn't see it, but I'm guessing a good "retail" price would start in the 9s and settle on a sale in the high $7K area. That's assuming a fresh timing belt and clutch.

Ummm, yeah, that's overpriced. Way overpriced. My S2 sold for under $7K, with fresh clutch, fresh motor, upgraded suspension and gobs of new parts all around.

I'm guessing this is the same Timmy Tyrrel that grew up down the street from me in Burke. His dad had a couple old 911 race cars back in the late 80's

I'd also say that this is the worst time of year to sell a car like that. Spring will see much better prices, esp. if the ecomomy improves.

He owns Convenience Car Care in Manassas. They do a lot of Porsche work. I may go look at the car if I get some time. Maybe find out what another 50 HP really feels like in a 944.

Cool, if you go, ask if he grew up in Burke...who knows maybe seeing those cars while growing up helped me get into Porsche (since another neighbor had a Maserati Ghibli...and those are too much $)
