URGENT: Estate sale TODAY of Brett Mullins’ equipment. Many hundreds of pieces of vintage high-end stereo, test equipment, tubes, etc. TODAY NOON-4:00 PM. 223 Forest Drive, Falls Church. I bought a Revox A77 for $200 (needs minor work).

Brett was founder of HiFi Heaven and other shops. Was a legend in the local community and the huge amount of stuff in his basement shows it.

Hi Dr K - He was a one of a kind audio expert. Glad some of the gear gets to a good home. Enjoy the tape deck! I gave it a thought to go too but I have enough gear at this time.

Before I pay a stranger online, does anybody have a couple of NAB adapters (allows you to use the 10-1/2" reels)? My deck came without them.

WANT TO BORROW, BUY, OR RECEIVE AS A GIFT: 7' or 10" empty tape reel(s).

I got the NAB adaptors, one original (needed the gasket replace) and 2 new knock-offs (which is what I'm using). But I can't test the A77 yet because 100% of my tape reels are full (and I have a lot, with all the 7" ones from the '70s).

If you are on FB, you can join @dandelion and me in this group. Perhaps someone has spares for you. You could call CD Cellar in Falls Church too. They sometimes get RTR tapes in for sale. Good luck!
