My apologies.

I’ve been lurking on the site for some time. It was very helpful when I was learning about 911’s. I’ve been racing a 1970 911 in Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR) since 2007. I raced an Alfa for 12 years prior to coming over to the dark side. I rediscovered Dorkiphus when I researching what to do so that the 914 shifter isn’t so much like stirring porridge.

I recently bought a pair of 914s from a dear friend that is retiring from racing. Father of four. Got my three youngest (18 y/o girl, 15 girl, 13 boy) behind the wheel on track last weekend. A huge life moment for Dad. Going to concentrate on CVAR and the Harris Hill Raceway 914 Challenge. Plus, need the shop space and racing budget so Kermit is on the block (much to the chagrin of my 13 year old).

I live in Austin unlikely so to meet up unless you all are coming down for the F1 race. In that case, PM me for an invitation to our annual party for the F1 team mechanics. We usually have 6-7 teams show up.
