(SOLD) For Sale: 2003 BMW M3 - 6 speed manual coupe
2003 BMW M3
Asking $20,000 168k 6-speed manual Stahlgrau Metallic (400) (aka Steel Gray Metallic, last year it was offered) Anthracite Impulse cloth & Black Nappa leather (cloth seats!) Options: OEM Navigation with very out of date map at this point Heated Seats, with memory, electric lumbar support, and manual extension for legs Xenon Headlights This S54 powered e46 fun machine came from the factory with a 6 speed manual, this is not a conversion car. I purchased this car in April 2010 with 42k. In the past 14 years, I've put 126k on it as my daily driver and maintained it excellently with lots of preventive maintenance in the process. To prove its been well maintained, I have big stack of receipts, some receipts are from shops and some receipts are me buying parts for DIY. The big 3 have been done (see below), there are no pixelation issues, no tears in the seats, and I have the owners manual, several keys, etc. This car is amazing, you're going to love it! I'll probably regret selling it. Can make arrangements for a local shop to do a pre-purchase inspection at your expense. If anything you see here is a deal breaker for you, then please don't bother to message me to let me know. If you've come to tell me that you found one with similar mileage for $10k, then please don't tell me and by all means go buy that one... but I bet they won't have 5 figures worth of receipts to show you. Noteworthy maintenance: 2005 - Rod bearings per dealer history @ 21,522 miles (under warranty) 2016 - VANOS in my ownership @ 115,029 (work performed by a shop) 2016 - Full cooling system replacement (thermostat, water pump, radiator) + oil filter housing gasket 2019 - valve adjustment 2019/05 - 245/275 Hankook Ventus V12 (installed @ 139,484) 2020 - New remanufactured limited slip differential (from RRT), rear differential bushings, suspension struts, wheel bearings, shifter bushings, fuel pump, a control arm, and a single exhaust hanger. Welded in rear subframe reinforcement kit from Bimmerworld, no cracks were seen and have pictures. If it was rubber and underneath the car, it got replaced. Thanks COVID. 2023/08/15 - air filter + valve adjustment at 164,943 2024 - A & C Pillars replaced Extras: -Aftermarket XM radio using OEM Aux Input -OEM 18" staggered wheels freshly repainted silver (not shadowchrome) -BMW branded valve adjustment kit, with lots of extra shims -OEM roof rack -A few oil change kits (oil + filter) -Several filters (air, cabin air, etc) -Extra set of lollipops for FCABs -Brand new B pillars -Parts I thought I needed while I was in there to fix stuff but didn't end up needing (window regulator, etc) -Probably some other stuff I'll find while cleaning out my BMW parts bin Imperfections: -Likely to have a CarFax "accident" from when I used my insurance to cover the repairs from when someone in front of me ran over something and threw it into my windshield. I have pics of the "accident". Whatever it was that was flung at the car also required the hood and roof to be repainted. -Interior -Sunroof doesn't work, or rather it makes a horrible noise and thus I don't use it or recommend using it. Vent function is perfect though. -After taking out the kid seats, there seems to be a small blemish on the seat. Its not that noticeable but trying to be thorough. -Retractable accordion cover for rear ash compartment is broken, because children -Exterior -Hood has a scrape from something flying up on the interstate, unrelated to previously mentioned CarFax story -Bumpers have lived through street parking from my apartment days and show it -Ding in passenger door slightly below handle -Rubber under rear quarter windows almost completely deteriorated -Some curb rash on all 4 19" wheels

Congrats on the sale, Lane. Are you still going to the track? I notice the RS America is still in your signature (of course, so is the 2003 M3 we all now know you sold...)
