This guys selling his motorcycle and a bunch of other stuff (tools, lift, parts etc). Thought for sure a dorki should drag all this home

Because of moving I'd like to sell all my "DC bike related stuff", ideally in one package. The bike alone sells for $4000 as per KBB for resale and $2750 for trade in value...!

1) 2003 Bmw K1200GT, 42k miles, ABS, heated seat, heated grips, cruise control, electrically adjustable windscreen, 2 side hard bags and a large GIVI rear hard-bag that needs to be installed but all the hardware is there.

The good: Great rubber front and back, good brakes, great motorcycle for riding solo or touring 2 up. Considered one of the best triple digits tourers of it's time.

The less good: it's been sitting so even though I disconnected the battery it will almost certainly need a new one (think $100), and while the oil/oil filter/air filter were changed shortly before I parked it, I'd give it a once-over before riding it. It has been sitting under a cover and raised from the ground so it should be good to go other than a good clean/detail.

Along with the bike I'd like to sell the lift you see in the photos. It's very nice and stable and you don't need a compressor to operate it, you just work the pedals.

There is also a toolbox filled with tools, assorted oils and motor related products, and a pair of never worn motorcycle pants in size XL (I bought them online and they are a little tight on me), XL rain-gear that fit me just fine even with gear on (I'm 6'4'' and 240 pounds for reference).

I replaced the tired (but functional) exhaust with a newer one, so the old one goes with the bike as a spare.

There is easily $5k worth of stuff, my loss your gain. Happy to answer any questions.
My very good friend will show you the bike (it's stored in his warehouse just outside DC) if you want to see it in person, just please no tire kickers: ask all the questions before: the first person that goes to see it should be the one to take it all home too. It's a great deal and it's priced to sell quickly.
