Default Heart sank today tranny marks
I was cleaning the tranny off and noticed what looked like a crack. I cleaned it all off and hit the web. Others have the same making and said it is a casting mark. It is raised so I hope it is a casting and not a crack.

Looks like a crack, but like you said others have the same line and it's a casting mark.

Len, don't sweat it. Ever since that time in port in the South China Sea TR has been a bit sensitive when 'crack' and 'tranny' are mentioned in the same sentence...

Funny, I just spit my coffee out on my computer with that comment. Its interesting to see how many trans have this same mark from the casting operations.
