Default WTB: 987.2 Boxster S 6-spd

If you have a 2009-2012 Boxster S in great condition, I'm interested in looking at it. Here are my parameters:

- must be 6-spd, no PDK please
- prefer < 40k miles
- prefer Sport options; the more, the merrier Chrono, Seats and Exhaust
- prefer Silver, Blue, Red or "other", eg Amethyst, etc., but no Black or White
- prefer natural leather or black, but color less important than eqpt

This is going to be a street car so it must have been well maintained. Am scouring internet and anywhere in the US but prefer a car known here locally.

Appreciate any leads. Thanks,
John

fwiw, sales volume of 2009 and 2010 cars was very small. I know cause I've looked too. I found this old press release on Porsche's website from Jan 2011 (2010 sales)

https://press.porsche.com/prod/press...085&archive=10

"For the year [2010], Boxster sales were 2,177, up 14 percent from 1,909 a year earlier."

Just not a lot of Boxsters to choose from to begin with. Good luck with your search!

Search completed today: 2010 Boxster S w/ 28k. Silver w/ black leather and a Milltek exhaust. They’re out there, just had to be a little patient (5 mos of looking).

I can say, for those looking for an ‘08, there are TONS for sale. Ultimately, I didn’t want the mental torture of an IMS failure detracting from my fun.

If anyone knows someone looking for a 100k mile ‘04 R32, I have one for sale for $10,500

Default 2010 Boxster S

Thanks Toby

Looking forward to getting back into local PCA events--without a roof over my head. The closest that I can come to experiencing an RS60 (real air-cooled '60-'62 718, not the '08 car) or WRS Spyder which, besides an 911ST, are my only "wunsch" cars.

Planned upgrades:
* IPD plenum and 82mm throttle body
* SharkWerks flash mod for 93 octane
* Soul Performance long-tube street headers

The car already has a Milltek exhaust from a PO.

Pondering whether to try the plenum & tb as a DIY, or just have a shop do it. Anyone experienced w/ this install interested in walking a novice through it?

Cheers,
John
