Default 996 Roof Rack, Inno Fairing.

$400 for the rack and fairing!

OEM Porsche Roof Transport System plus an Inno Fairing I used when I had my 996 (really kept the wind noise down). Rubber inserts were replaced two years ago.

I'm pretty sure this also fits 997s, but please do some research if you plan to use it on your 997. Please let me know if you have any questions.

like a set of track wheels / hoosiers so one can drive to, instead of trailering to, track.

i was considering this actually. IIRC, the max load would be below the total of rack + whatever support plank needed + 4 wheels but i just figured i would transport one inside car to keep roof weight below limit.

Bingo! I always wanted to try that, but I only used it with skis. The rack and fairing are OBO, btw.
