Default Highway Safety School

My wife has expressed interest in participating in a highway safety school. She drives a Bimmer 3 series.

Anyone know of an event like this happening late April or May?

Assuming you are a PCA member I think the HPDC on 4/12 & 4/13 would fit your needs very well. As I understand it they primarily teach car control (using the smaller Jefferson Circuit instead of the main track) and you get time on the skid pad. The BMW would fit right in because it's not just limited to P-cars. Check out the Potomac site for details if you are interested.

IMO everyone should be required to take the HPDC. Only 1 day, but a great introduction to what you don't know about driving your car. Highly recommended and all cars are allowed.

I'm signed up the the HPDC in April. I did it last year (April), too. I'm hoping it's not raining this time.

Default Just our luck

Those dates conflict with our schedule. Any other dates coming up?

I watched their protective services / anti-terrorism training sessions in between races at this past Fall's PCA club race (during corner worker down time). It's pretty cool stuff!
