What to do with relatively new tires? (I just don't like them)
Bought my son a used car earlier this year, and it came with a cheap set of Delinte tires. I'd never heard of the brand but apparently they're not-quite-bottom of the barrel among the cheap foreign tires now flooding the market.
They're not very grippy and I'd like to put a better set of tires on his car before winter weather arrives. The Delintes have probably 80% of their treadlife remaining. Is there anyone who'd give me anything for them? Any tire shops or other places I should look? (To be clear, not trying to sell them here, just looking for advice on what to do with them other than send them to the landfill.)

Post the sizes. Someone may take them for rollers.

At one time, Radial Tire (Silver Spring) was willing to take trade-ins of used tires, towards a new set, if they saw some sort of resale opportunity. Otherwise, consider posting on your local FaceBook Market Place; I'm sure someone there would be interested, especially if the price was right.

The new owner at Radial (Bill - Paul is still there about 3 days/week) is a former used tire guy and might be interested.

The landfill will charge you to take them.. rt 28 in manassas has several "used tire" places.. Ron's used tire comes to mind...
