^ Probably not my kind of "limbless." Though I have seen the result of someone peering into an auto 8" mount just to see what it's all about.

But come on you've never been shy about upping the anti boy-o!

Check the weekly Dick's ad, they have a shotgun ammo sale regularly.

Herters from Cabelas is what I've been using.
http://www.cabelas.com/product/Herte...se/1545677.uts

Wait for one of their $5 flat rate shipping and get a couple cases. Way cheaper than dicks. Also just ammoseek.com. Trick is to find somewhere w/ a free/low-flate-rate ship deal and buy a bunch at once. I've been able to buy a couple cases around $5/bx shipped if you time the sales correctly. Black Fri sales are coming up!

Whats your time worth? I did the math once and I could reload 12ga target shells for around $4.25/bx. Not a big enough savings (for me) when I can buy the same for $5 on sale.

IME, reloading comes into its own on the exotic/higher priced stuff *OR* you are looking for the ultimate in precision. 500S&W goes from $2.50 to $0.50 ea trigger pull. 220gr 300blk $1+ -> $0.35. Precision 308 $1 -> $0.50. Those are all 'worth' it to me. I can reload 45 & 9mm for about 1/2 what I buy it for, yet I still buy it by the 1k case. Even w/ my loaded Dillon 650 those just take too much time at the moment. I always save brass though! Some calibers I just can't beat the commercial stuff. Even buying parts by the thousands (to amortize shipping and hazmat fees) .223 is ~$0.18 to reload 'plinker' rounds and the steel case wolf/tula is about that new.

Whats your time worth?

Agree. I found reloading to pay off well in .45acp and it let me tune the power to the use. Rifle high end rounds beg for roll your own as well.

Thats a decent deal, worth looking into. You can get Remington at Dicks for 5.50-6 or so, the only issue I ever had is getting enough. Its simpler to order online, especially with the coupon, sometimes Dicks is sold out as soon as they open.

I only reload 45 colt as it is hard to find and expensive and needed for tuning to the fixed sights. Have done 45acp and 9s but more as a hanging out with by buds watching Way of the Gun when he was single. Even when heading out to shoot a few thousand rounds it was just easier to ship blocks of 1k there.
