They seem to only last about 2 days so finding a used, working one is highly rare

^^^This. They're "cheap enough" new, so I would go that route. ~$140 from OGRacing, AND you get your 2nd mic for free!

Put your $ into TracCom. More expensive, but, much better audio, noise cancelling mics, individual volume controls.

Agree with Roo. Spend the little extra on the TracCom unit and get more reliability,flexibility and sound quality. HMS Motorsports sells them
