Default Jersey club race

I seem to be snake bit in New Jersey. I was having an awesome race on Saturday fighting back and forth with another 911 for first place up until the very last lap. Ugh. (see video) A huge thank you to Steve Wilson for his incredible ingenuity to get my car back on the trailer. Not sure what I would have done without him. As the car gets torn down I may be on here looking for parts...

Sorry to see that Scott. I FFed to the last part, and based on your minimum speed at Apex, you were driving very well. You are at a point that you need to spend the big bucks on coaching to work out getting on throttle earlier to eek out the last few 0.5-1s.

In your video, I also saw the asshattery of the faster class guys thinking they have the right of way, as well as those that are fast and respectful (Frank), and those who have no clue not to get in the way of a faster out of class car or in-class race. The situation was created because the Boxter was holding Sean up which actually allowed you to catch up.

Hope you get her fixed soon.

That same car was a pain in the a$$ at the Glen as well. Fortunately at the Glen there are many more passing opportunities.

That being said the guy is clearly new to racing and hasn't a clue about out of class racing and isn't at the point where he can recognize the racing going on around him for what it is.

He was also not ready for that faster traffic to go around the outside of him in T6.

He's in over his head at this point in time in his racing career.

But hey, we've all been there and I'm really not trying to be a dick.

It's just really unfortunate that two guys fighting for first had to be part of his learning curve.
