Day 16 update:

They did more drywalling today. Looks like they've patched all the holes and just need to do some finish work. And, the dog investigated, too. I think she approves, at least, she didn't leave any "presents".

I will make sure to ask them about the tile layout. Thanks for the tip!

Day 17 update:

They got most of the tile down today. Not sure when they started, but they kept going until about 7pm. They should finish installing tomorrow. Then, I think they will grout on Friday. And maybe paint this weekend.

I'm not going to hold my breath, but it's starting to look like they might actually finish by the end of next week.

Getting close to the time to see if all the measurements, calulations and ordering was right.

Default Day 18 update:

They finished the tile and grout today. The grout is a light grey. I think the plan for tomorrow is to finish the drywalling (sanding, touching-up, etc.) and then primer. They are making progress....

Heavy floor protection paper and tape the floor! DW dust and grout get along too well. Can be very hard to get the white out of grout for some reason.

What Kurt said. This is why I always had clients wait for flooring as one of the last items to be completed. Since this tile is probably not through color, any chip will show, and we all know that the equipment draggers and droppers have not yet arrived on this project.

Propane is gas too country boy, so you should not feel left out. The gas stoves typically have jet/ valve options for propane and for natural gas, and can be converted from one to the other pretty easily.
